About us

Pastor Ronald Dalton has been pastoring for 37 and half years. He is a physician specializing in Pediatrics for 49years. His first church he opened was Refuge Apostolic Faith Church October 1985. on the East Side Harper Ave. Many souls have been baptized filled with the precious gift of the Holy Spirit and baptized in Jesus Name. Many have been restored and delivered.

In  October of 1992 Pastor Dalton opened up a new church in The Plaza Hotel on providence drive and held services there and the Holiday Inn on telegraph when the Plaza was full.  The Lord blessed us in 1995 to move to our present location 27800 Southfield Road , Southfield Mi 48076 where we are renting and waiting for the next MOVE of God.

He has been married to Lady Gale Dalton for 44 years. Lady Gale Dalton has her BS and Masters Ed in Education and is a certified teacher for state of Michigan. Prior to her career change was a Licensed Practical Nurse in the state of New York City.  We have  7 children 6 wonderful sons and 1 beautiful daughter. 8 grandchildren 4 boys and 4 girls.

Our church has founded in 2005 the Daughters of Destiny a girls mentoring group for ages 5-26 and in 2012 founded the Brothers with a Purpose mentoring group for boys and young men from ages 5-28.  the Daughters of Destiny meet quarterly as the Brothers Group do and once a year the Daughters of Destiny have an annual retreat at a local hotel with workshops games prizes and enrichment activities.

We have Praise team : Praisers for Christ with another church, Singles Ministry, Married Ministry, Visit the Sick,

Every 4th Sunday is our Prayer Service where we dress casually and devote this service to prayer and travail.

.We accept God's plan of salvation of baptism by water and spirit. Jesus Christ, who was our perfect example, though sinless, was baptized to fulfill righteousness. John 3:5; Matthew 3:15 We believe that water baptism in the name of Jesus Christ is essential for forgiveness of sins, and confirms our belief that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. Acts 2:38; Acts 8:37 We believe that rebirth by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential today as it was in the days of the Apostles. Acts 2:4 We believe in the water baptism in the name Lord Jesus Christ with the evidence of receiving the gift of the Holy Spirit speaking in other tongues as the spirit give utterance.

 

We are a family centered church where the people who are sent our ministry are our greatest asset,  Gods WILL is our passionate purpose, The Spirit of God is our susteance.
